GEA Advocacy

Site level advocacy usually centers around peer-to-peer issues; principal/evaluation disagreements; and schedule/course conflicts. These issues are best handled at the individual site, so reach out to your site representative first. They will help you determine the level of assistance you need. You should also complete this Advocacy Intake form to inform the GEA of your concerns.

Micro-credentials are short, self-paced, competency-based courses that allow you to develop new skills, or demonstrate what you already know. And when done through NEA, they're completely free for union members.

NEA offers nearly 200 micro-credentials, all created by educators, for educators.
